Phulbai corset

We brought Karnataka’s Banjara Kasuti artistry to the global stage at the Cannes Film Festival. Since then, we have been pondering about all the different ways to bring this authentic craftsmanship into your lives straight from the source with The House of Banjara. 

For the last few weeks, we have been working on the most mindblowing collection full of indian artistry at Niharika Vivek. We hope to give you a taste of that with the Phulbai corset featuring Banjara Kasuti work, handloom Ikkat textile in raw silk and cotton and vintage Paithani zari detailing. The silhouette is inspired by our classic draped corset but with double drapes this time. 

We have never been more proud of a collection with every single detail oozing REAL Indian craftsmanship from every corner of the country: from the Banjara handiwork, to the ikkat weaving, to the Paithani detailing, to the weeks our own in-house team of master tailors took to transform all these into real corsetry.
